Steeping Tip for Loose Leaf Tea

A secret of a good steep is letting the tea leaves expand in the water. Most times when we use small tea balls, the leaves don't get enough room to absorb water and hydrate well. This is one reason why we recommend using a french press. If you don't have a french press, just let the tea leaves steep in a cup and strain before drinking.

Make 3-4 cups of tea from 1 tsp of Turmeric Teas

Turmeric Teas signature tea blends are made with high quality, organic ingredients that maintain the rich flavour even after  3-4 steeps. Here are the instructions to make 3-4 cups of our delicious turmeric tea loaded with the anti-inflammatory benefits of curcumin.

      1.   Steep your tea in a french press using the steeping instructions described above.
      2. While you are enjoying your first cup of tea, add another cup of hot water to the french press and let it steep for 8-10 minutes.
      3. Throw the tea leaves in a Mason jar, add 1-2 cups of water (room temperature) and store in the fridge for 2-6 hours.
      4. Enjoy a cold brew or warm up the brew.
