How to make a Golden (Turmeric) Mimosa!

How to make a Golden (Turmeric) Mimosa!

Who said you can't indulge and eat healthy at the same time! Our philosophy in life is about making room for everything you LOVE! Whether it is biting into a decadent dessert or sipping a glass of your favourite cocktail. These little indulgences create so much joy in our lives that a little bit of negative impact gets negated by all the happy hormones released in our bodies. (Double Negative = POSITIVE)

I try and make my indulgences healthier....cause that's what I like doing and love to share them with you. Today I want to share how to convert a Classic Mimosa to Golden Turmeric Mimosa. And, it is more than just adding Turmeric powder to your Mimosa.

I used our WINTER blend that is loaded with anti-inflammatory benefits of not jut Turmeric but also Ginger + antioxidants from Cinnamon and warming powers of Cloves and last but not the least a hint of black pepper to increase the absorption of Turmeric.

To steep a cup of WINTER blend add 1tsp of loose leaf tea in 8oz boiling water and let it steep for 5-7 minutes. The longer you steep the stronger it becomes.

Orange juice and the Winter blend steeped tea also makes an amazing WINTER tonic to keep the cold symptoms at bay. Cool it down and it makes a good base for our feature Turmeric Mimosa recipe.

I love brunches on weekends and this special drink with my weekend brunch just makes my Sunday so much special! That extra boost of joy keeps me glowing all week long (and of course Turmeric helps with the glow too ;) )
