  A combination of pineapple juice and turmeric-ginger tea combination might sound like an odd bunch but it did wonders for my cold. Pineapple contains the enzyme bromelain, which aids in digestion and lowers inflammation. Turmeric (Curcumin) and ginger are anti-inflammatory, and I added some fresh lemon for a boost of Vitamin C.
